Upshaw Consulting Services is a diversified HSE consulting firm offering drilling and well servicing rig inspections/audits. We are knowledgeable in all aspects of drilling and well servicing and have 55 plus combined years of experience in safety on land based and offshore operations. Upshaw Consulting Services has developed an evaluation process and inspection/audit forms that include items from OSHA requirements, API recommended practices, IADC and legal counsel recommendations, various contractor’s lists, seminars, and experience gained from conducting evaluations over the past four decades. The inspection/audit forms developed by Upshaw Consulting Services for the evaluation of drilling contractor’s rigs involves over 700 different items in a twenty-nine page document. Upshaw Consulting Services also conducts audits on completion/workover rigs and production/tank battery locations with separate more specific audit forms for each. Our inspection forms are consistently updated to match the needs of the ever changing environment of E&P operations. As a company we have conducted thousands of inspections/audits for thirty plus operators/clients over the years and on average conduct approximately 200 compliance inspections annually.
